The SEC’s top two teams meet in the biggest game of the night, while history is on the line in a hastily-arranged non-conference game in Chapel Hill.

Quad 1 For Both Teams (1/1: 1 Game)

Top 30 at Top 75

8. Alabama (18-5, 13-1 SEC) at 25. Arkansas (17-5, 9-4), 9 p.m. (ESPN2)

With a win tonight, the Crimson Tide will move four games up on the second-place Razorbacks with two, possibly three, games left in the regular season. Bama won the pair’s first meeting by 31 on January 16th, but Arkansas has won seven straight SEC games since.

Quad 2 For Host/Quad 1 For Visitor (2/1: 1 Game)

31–75 at Top 75

54. Indiana (12-10, 7-8 Big Ten) at 31. Rutgers (12-9, 8-9), 8 p.m. (B1G Network)

This is basically a must-win for the Hoosiers because of what follows on their schedule: Michigan Saturday in Bloomington, then consecutive road games against Michigan State and Purdue. The Scarlet Knights, meanwhile, have dropped three of their last four, and while their final week is more forgiving, Nebraska and Minnesota, Rutgers gets both on the road.

Quad 2 For Both Teams (2/2: 1 Game)

31–75 at 76–135

52. Xavier (12-4, 5-4) at 88. Providence (11-11, 7-9), 9 p.m. (FS1)

The Musketeers need to get things together quickly to get out of the “last eight in” group. Xavier has played just nine games since grabbing its lone win of the season against a team in the field—Oklahoma on December 9th. While Travis Steele’s club defeated Providence on January 10th, it was a one-point decision in Cincinnati.

Quad 1 For Host/Quad 3 For Visitor (1/3: 1 Game)

Top 30 at 136–240

12. Florida State (13-3, 9-2 ACC) at 165. Miami (Fla.) (7-13, 3-12), 8:30 p.m. (ACCN)

The Seminoles defeated the Hurricanes, who are rather shorthanded at the moment, by 22 on January 27th.

Quad 3 For Host/Quad 1 For Visitor (3/1: 5 Games)

76–160 at Top 75

78. Davidson (11-6, 6-3 A 10) at 39. St. Bonaventure (11-3, 9-3), 5 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))
81. NC State (10-9, 6-8 ACC) at 9. Virginia (15-5, 11-3), 6:30 p.m. (ACCN)
100. Marquette (10-12, 6-10 Big East) at 33. North Carolina (14-7, 8-5 ACC), 7 p.m. (ESPN2)
155. Tulane (9-9, 4-9 American) at 62. Memphis (12-6, 8-3), 8 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))
159. DePaul (4-10, 2-10 Big East) at 24. Creighton (16-5, 12-4), 9 p.m. (CBSSN)

For the second Wednesday in a row, North Carolina plays a non-conference game scheduled in the last week. Defeating Marquette probably won’t do much to help the Tar Heels’ case, but a win would be Roy Williams’ 900th career victory. In the ACC intraconference matchup in this group, having dropped two straight, look for Virginia to take their frustrations out on an NC State team that already lost to the Cavaliers in Raleigh three weeks ago. While both of DePaul’s Big East wins came on the road, defeating Creighton isn’t quite the same as winning at Marquette or St. John’s in 2021.

In the Atlantic 10, St. Bonaventure can get itself into a first-place tie with VCU by defeating Davidson for the second time in four days. Over in the American, Memphis ends an 18-day pause by welcoming Tulane to FedEx Forum. The Tigers have won three straight and six of their last seven, so they cannot be eliminated from the at-large picture as of yet.

Quad 2 For Host/Quad 3 For Visitor (2/3: 2 Games)

31–75 at 136–240

38. Clemson (13-5, 7-5 ACC) at 139. Wake Forest (6-11, 3-11), 4:30 p.m. (ACCN)
51. Seton Hall (13-9, 10-6) at 143. Butler (7-13, 6-11), 7 p.m. (CBSSN)

Seton Hall needs to be a bit more careful in tonight’s road game than Clemson does, as the Pirates already lost a bit of ground by dropping Saturday’s trip to Georgetown. As for the Tigers, while they’ve won three of their last four, they haven’t won on the road since defeating Miami on January 2nd.

Quad 3 For Host/Quad 2 For Visitor (3/2: 1 Game)

76–160 at 76–135

147. Sam Houston State (17-6, 11-1 Southland) at 76. Abilene Christian (18-3, 10-1), 8:30 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))

Abilene Christian can leapfrog Sam Houston State in the Southand race by reversing the Bearkats’ 64-57 win in Huntsville from January 20th.

Quad 3 For Host/Quad 4 For Visitor (3/4: 1 Game)

76–160 at 241–353

80. Dayton (12-7. 8-6 A 10) at 258. Saint Joseph’s (2-14, 1-9), 6 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))

While the Flyers travel to Olean on Monday, that game could be meaningless for their dwindling at-large hopes if they lose on Hawk Hill tonight.
