Quad 1 For Both Teams (1/1: Games)

Top 30 at Top 75

8. Creighton Bluejays (22-6, 11-4 2nd Big East) at 74. St. John’s Red Storm (14-14, 3-12 9th), 12 p.m. (FS1)
24. Michigan Wolverines (18-10, 9-8 T7th Big Ten) at 17. Ohio State Buckeyes (19-9, 9-8 T7th), 4 p.m. (CBS)
20. Colorado Buffaloes (21-8, 10-6 T3rd Pac-12) at 30. Stanford Cardinal (19-9, 8-7 7th), 6 p.m. (ESPNU)

With Seton Hall visiting Omaha next Saturday, Creighton still has a shot at earning the No. 1 seed in the Big East Tournament, but the Bluejays will have to get past St. John’s, loser of three straight, and Georgetown first. After losing to Ohio State in Ann Arbor on February 4th, Michigan won five in a row before Thursday’s home loss to Wisconsin. As for the Buckeyes, they’ve won four of five. Both squads’ resurgences have seen them improve their NCAA seeding even though their chances for a Big Ten quarterfinal bye are all but over. In the Pac-12, Colorado sits a game behind the surging UCLA Bruins for first, but consecutive losses to the Bruins and California have wrecked the Buffaloes’ title hopes. This afternoon, they take on a Stanford squad that lost by seven in Boulder on February 8th. The Cardinal really could use a Quad 1 win, as their profile is lacking despite a top 30 NET.

Quad 2 For Host/Quad 1 For Visitor (2/1: Games)

31–75 at Top 75

53. Cincinnati Bearcats (18-9, 11-4 T2nd AAC) at 22. Houston Cougars (21-7, 11-4 T2nd), 1 p.m. (ESPN)
45. Xavier Musketeers (18-10, 7-8 7th Big East) at 59. Georgetown Hoyas (15-13, 5-10 8th), 2 p.m. (CBS)
66. Saint Louis Billikens (20-8, 9-6 6th A 10) at 43. Rhode Island Rams (20-7, 12-3 2nd), 2 p.m. (ESPNU)
55. Indiana Hoosiers (18-10, 8-9 T9th Big Ten) at 36. Illinois Fighting Illini (19-9, 11-6 T3rd), 2 p.m. (BTN)
48. Minnesota Golden Gophers (13-14, 7-10 12th Big Ten) at 27. Wisconsin Badgers (18-10, 11-6 T3rd), 6:30 p.m. (BTN)

One month ago, Houston dropped a 64-62 thriller to Cincinnati, so the Cougars have been waiting for a chance for revenge. Today’s winner will join the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in a tie for first, a possibility created by Houston’s loss at Memphis last Saturday and Cincinnati’s 2-2 record in four consecutive February overtime contests. In the Big East, Georgetown enters the last chance saloon needing a win over a Xavier squad it lost to by nine in Cincinnati on January 22nd. Atlantic 10 bubble team Rhode Island needs to get back on track following an OT loss at Davidson and narrow midweek win at Fordham. The Rams can’t take Saint Louis lightly even if they’ll have a chance to end Dayton’s perfect Atlantic 10 season on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Illinois is in position to earn a bye to Friday in Indianapolis, thanks to three straight wins, while Indiana could use a quality road win for their at-large hopes, particularly after the Hoosiers fell short at Purdue on Thursday. As for Minnesota, the Golden Gophers will need to win out over the final week and make a run in the Big Ten playoffs to have an at-large shot. Their opponent today, Wisconsin, has won five in a row since losing in Minneapolis on February 5th. On the flip side, Richard Pittino’s team has only defeated Northwestern since.

Quad 2 For Both Teams (2/2: Games)

31–75 at 76–135

47. Wichita State Shockers (21-7, 9-6 T4th AAC) at 81. SMU Mustangs (19-8, 9-6 T4th), 4 p.m. (ESPNU)

Today’s winner in Dallas has the inside track to the final quarterfinal bye at the American Athletic Tournament, though there’s a good chance the two teams could meet for a second time in that 4 vs. 5 contest in Fort Worth on March 13th.

Quad 3 For Host/Quad 1 For Visitor (3/1: Games)

76–160 at Top 75

85. Virginia Tech Hokies (15-13, 6-11 11th ACC) at 9. Louisville Cardinals (23-6, 14-4 T1st ACC), 6 p.m. (ACCN)

Louisville can temporarily jump a half-game ahead of Florida State in the ACC race with a home win over Virginia Tech.

Quad 3 For Host/Quad 2 For Visitor (3/2: Games)

76–160 at 76–135

125. Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (19-9, 12-4 2nd C-USA) at 90. North Texas Mean Green (19-10, 13-3 1st), 2 p.m. (CBSSN)

Conference USA’s regular-season title is on the line in Denton, with WKU having defeated North Texas by a 93-84 score in Bowling Green to open league play on January 2nd.
