Quad 1 For Both Teams (1/1: 2 Games)

Top 30 at Top 75

29. LSU Tigers (19-8, 10-4 SEC) at 33. Florida Gators (17-10, 9-5), 9 p.m. (ESPN2)
10. Maryland Terrapins (22-5, 12-4 Big Ten) at 44. Minnesota Golden Gophers (13-13, 7-9), 9 p.m. (BTN)

Florida and LSU’s last four meetings have been decided by 2, 3, 1 (after OT), and 5 (also after OT) points each, so you probably won’t want to miss this one, particularly since both fell in the 8/9 range of Tuesday’s bracket. As for Maryland-Minnesota, the Terps travel to Minneapolis with the aim of maintaining their two-game lead in the Big Ten race. The Gophers, meanwhile, need to get themselves on a late win streak to resuscitate their at-large hopes.

Quad 2 For Host/Quad 1 For Visitor (2/1: 4 Games)

31–75 at Top 75

71. St. John’s Red Storm (14-13, 3-11 Big East) at 13. Villanova Wildcats (21-6, 10-4), 6:30 p.m. (FS1)
34. Rutgers Scarlet Knights (18-10, 9-8 Big Ten) at 25. Penn State Nittany Lions (20-7, 10-6), 7 p.m. (BTN)
59. Georgetown Hoyas (15-12, 5-9 Big East) at 26. Marquette Golden Eagles (17-9, 7-7), 8:30 p.m. (FS1)
65. Tennessee Volunteers (15-12, 7-7) at 45. Arkansas Razorbacks (17-10, 5-9), 8:30 p.m. (SECN)

Tonight’s Big East doubleheader on FS1 features a pair of games that will be crucial in shaping the league race. Villanova can move into a tie for second with the Creighton Bluejays by completing a season sweep of St. John’s. Meanwhile, Marquette is currently wedged between the fourth-place Providence Friars and a pair of teams tied for sixth, the Butler Bulldogs and Xavier Musketeers. Remember, only the top six teams in the conference earn byes to the quarterfinal round. Both the Golden Eagles (three games) and Georgetown (two) are sliding, with the Hoyas slipping completely out of the bracket thanks to their skid.

Will Rutgers finally win a road game over a team other than Nebraska tonight? The odds are against the Scarlet Knights only because Penn State needs to snap its two-game skid before visiting Iowa on Saturday. Arkansas, meanwhile, will look to put up more of a fight against Tennessee than the Hogs managed on February 11th in Knoxville. The Razorbacks lost that one by an 82-61 count, though Isaiah Joe missed that one.

Quad 2 For Both Teams (2/2: Games)

31–75 at 76–135

52. Virginia Cavaliers (19-7, 11-5 ACC) at 84. Virginia Tech Hokies (15-12, 6-10), 7 p.m. (ESPN2)
67. Syracuse Orange (15-12, 8-8 ACC) at 99. Pittsburgh Panthers (15-13, 6-11), 7 p.m. (ACCN)

Of the four ACC teams playing in this group, only Virginia has realistic at-large hopes right now, and the Cavaliers cannot get caught looking ahead to Saturday’s visit from Duke Blue Devils. Virginia smothered its in-state rival by a 65-39 score on January 4th. Meanwhile, Syracuse can complete a season sweep of Pitt, as the Orange took down the Panthers by eight at the Dome on January 25th.

Quad 3 For Host/Quad 1 For Visitor (3/1: Games)

76–160 at Top 75

90. Georgia Bulldogs (14-13, 4-10 SEC) at 63. South Carolina Gamecocks (16-11, 8-6), 6:30 p.m. (SECN)
127. UCF Knights (14-12, 5-9 AAC) at 70. UConn Huskies (15-12, 6-8), 7 p.m. (ESPNU)
78. Furman Paladins (23-6, 13-3 SoCon) at 61. UNCG Spartans (23-6, 13-3), 7 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))
82. Utah Utes (15-12, 6-9 Pac-12) at 31. Stanford Cardinal (18-9, 7-7), 10 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks National, Bay Area, & Mountain)

The most intriguing game here is the likely preview of the Southern Conference’s 2 vs. 3 semifinal, as UNCG will look for a repeat of its 86-73 win at Furman. Elsewhere, UConn hosts UCF for the last time as an American Athletic Conference member, South Carolina hosts Georgia two weeks after they took down the Bulldogs by 16 in Athens, and Stanford will attempt to avenge its 64-56 overtime loss against Utah 20 days ago.

Quad 2 For Host/Quad 3 For Visitor (2/3: Games)

31–75 at 136–240

58. VCU Rams (17-10, 7-7 A 10) at 146. UMass Minutemen (12-15, 6-8), 7 p.m. (NESN+/ESPN+ ($))
39. ETSU Buccaneers (25-4, 14-2 SoCon) at 151. Wofford Terriers (16-13, 8-8), 7 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))
50. Richmond Spiders (20-7, 10-4 A 10) at 193. George Washington Colonials (12-15, 6-8), 7 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))
56. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (17-10, 8-8 ACC) at 150. Boston College Eagles (13-15, 7-10), 9 p.m. (ACCN)

In the two Atlantic 10 contests, the conference’s Richmond schools will both look to get back on track. VCU travels to UMass having dropped four in a row and five of six, results that have pushed the Rams out of the bubble picture. As for Richmond, the Spiders travel to Foggy Bottom having dropped Saturday’s trip to St. Bonaventure. In the SoCon, conference-leading ETSU defeated Wofford on New Year’s Day, but by just one point, in Johnson City. As for Notre Dame, a win over BC won’t improve its at-large prospects. But a loss could damage them and the Irish have already lost to the Eagles at home, 73-72, all the way back on December 7th.

Quad 4 For Host/Quad 1 For Visitor (4/1: Games)

161–353 at Top 75

253. Evansville Purple Aces (9-20, 0-16 MVC) at 46. Northern Iowa Panthers (23-5, 12-4), 8 p.m. (PSN/NBC Sports Chicago/ESPN+ ($))
231. Saint Joseph’s Hawks (5-22, 1-13 A 10) at 72. Saint Louis Billikens (19-8, 8-6), 9 p.m. (CBSSN)

Quad 2 For Host/Quad 4 For Visitor (2/4: Games)

31–75 at 241–353

38. Rhode Island Rams (19-7, 11-3 A 10) at 277. Fordham Rams (7-19, 1-13), 7 p.m. (Yur NE/ESPN+ ($))

Needless to say, UNI, SLU, and URI will all see their chances take on severe damage if they lose to the worst teams in their respective conferences.

Quad 4 For Host/Quad 2 For Visitor (4/2: Games)

161–353 at 76–135

314. Northwestern State Demons (12-13, 9-7 Southland) at 88. Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks (24-3, 15-1), 7:30 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))

If the Lumberjacks defeat the Demons for a second time, their win streak will extend to 12 and they’ll be three games up on Abilene Christian with just three to play.
