Quad 1 For Both Teams (1/1: 9 Games)

Top 30 at Top 75

29. Purdue Boilermakers (14-11, 7-7 Big Ten) at 23. Ohio State Buckeyes (16-8, 7-7), 12 p.m. (Fox)
16. Texas Tech Red Raiders (16-8, 7-4 Big 12) at 71. Oklahoma State Cowboys (12-12, 2-9), 1 p.m. (CBS)
27. LSU Tigers (18-6, 9-2 SEC) at 39. Alabama Crimson Tide (13-11, 5-6), 4 p.m. (ESPN2)
10. West Virginia Mountaineers (18-6, 6-5 Big 12) at 3. Baylor Bears (22-1, 11-0), 4 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))
8. Maryland Terrapins (20-4, 10-3 Big Ten) at 11. Michigan State Spartans (17-8, 9-5), 6 p.m. (ESPN)
26. Houston Cougars (20-5, 10-2 AAC) at 72. SMU Mustangs (17-6, 7-4), 6 p.m. (ESPNU)
15. Seton Hall Pirates (18-6, 10-2 Big East) at 62. Providence Friars (13-12, 6-6), 8 p.m. (CBSSN)
17. Colorado Buffaloes (19-6, 8-4 Pac-12) at 64. Oregon State Beavers (15-9, 5-7), 10 p.m. (FS1)
9. Arizona Wildcats (17-7, 7-4 Pac-12) at 33. Stanford Cardinal (16-8, 5-6), 10:30 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks National, Arizona, & Bay Area)

While there are nine all-Quad 1 options on the Saturday slate, only two of these games feel like true marquee matchups. And just one of those, the first of two meetings between current Big Ten leader Maryland and preseason favorite Michigan State, is set for actual TV. That’s because West Virginia is again playing a fellow Big 12 power on ESPN+, and the Mountaineers will have put up a far better effort at Baylor than they offered up in falling to Kansas in Morgantown on Wednesday. Those two squads will meet again to wrap up the regular season.

Elsewhere, Purdue and Seton Hall head to tricky environments as both look to rebound from midweek home losses, while Colorado would like to avoid a sweep in Oregon. Stanford really needs to beat Arizona after Thursday’s home loss to Arizona State, while Texas Tech, LSU, and Houston must avoid dropping road games against teams currently on the wrong side of the bubble.

Quad 2 For Host/Quad 1 For Visitor (2/1: 9 Games)

31–75 at Top 75

45. Oklahoma Sooners (16-8, 6-5 Big 12) at 4. Kansas Jayhawks (21-3, 10-1), 12 p.m. (ESPN)
69. Syracuse Orange (14-10, 7-6 ACC) at 14. Florida State Seminoles (20-4, 10-3), 12 p.m. (ESPN2)
51. Mississippi State Bulldogs (15-9, 6-5 SEC) at 43. Arkansas Razorbacks (16-8, 4-7), 1 p.m. (SECN)
54. Georgetown Hoyas (14-10, 4-7 Big East) at 12. Butler Bulldogs (19-6, 7-5), 2:30 p.m. (Fox)
53. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (15-9, 6-7 ACC) at 6. Duke Blue Devils (21-3, 11-2), 4 p.m. (ESPN)
42. VCU Rams (17-7, 7-4 A 10) at 52. Richmond Spiders (18-6, 8-3), 4 p.m. (CBSSN)
36. Illinois Fighting Illini (16-8, 8-5 Big Ten) at 32. Rutgers Scarlet Knights (17-8, 8-6), 4:30 p.m. (BTN)
65. Tennessee Volunteers (14-10, 6-5 SEC) at 66. South Carolina Gamecocks (15-9, 7-4), 6 p.m. (SECN)
67. DePaul Blue Demons (13-11, 1-10 Big East) at 19. Creighton Bluejays (19-6, 8-4), 7:30 p.m. (FS1)

For the most part, this group consists of whole slew of bubble teams ranging from those who are nearly safely in the field (Oklahoma) to others whose chances are now merely theoretical (DePaul) will be dared to pick up quality road wins. But there are some truly balanced matchups here, VCU’s attempt to complete a season sweep of Richmond 72 hours before Dayton visits, Illinois’ attempt to snap a three-game skid at Rutgers’ Fortress RAC, and Tennessee’s trip to South Carolina in a matchup of SEC teams who not only neighbor each other in Friday’s NET, but also are both in dire need of a win to remain relevant in the at-large chase.

Quad 1 For Host/Quad 2 For Visitor (1/2: 3 Games)

Top 30 at 76–135

7. Louisville Cardinals (21-4, 12-2 ACC) at 83. Clemson Tigers (12-12, 6-8), 4 p.m. (ACCN)
13. Auburn Tigers (22-2, 9-2 SEC) at 93. Missouri Tigers (11-13, 3-8), 6 p.m. (ESPN2)
2. Gonzaga Bulldogs (25-1, 11-0 WCC) at 133. Pepperdine Waves (14-12, 7-5), 10 p.m. (ESPN)

Louisville will look to avoid a second consecutive road loss, while fellow conference leaders Auburn and Gonzaga also head to potentially tricky road environments. Note that Missouri only fell by four at LSU on Tuesday, while Pepperdine only lost by five at Gonzaga back in early January.

Quad 2 For Both Teams (2/2: 4 Games)

31–75 at 76–135

70. Texas Longhorns (14-10, 4-7 Big 12) at 79. Iowa State Cyclones (10-14, 3-8), 2 p.m. (ESPN2)
55. Virginia Cavaliers (16-7, 8-5 ACC) at 95. North Carolina Tar Heels (10-14, 3-10), 8 p.m. (ESPN)
35. Northern Iowa Panthers (22-3, 11-2 MVC) at 102. Loyola Chicago Ramblers (17-9, 9-4), 8 p.m. (ESPN2)
63. Washington Huskies (12-13, 2-10 Pac-12) at 103. UCLA Bruins (14-11, 7-5), 10 p.m. (ESPN2)

Curiously, just two of these contests have true at-large implications. Virginia has won five of Its last seven to climb back into the bracket, and the Cavaliers will look to sweep a UNC team that followed up last Saturday’s heartbreak against Duke ... by getting blown out at Wake Forest. In the Missouri Valley, meanwhile, UNI can move one step closer to securing the No. 1 seed for Arch Madness. However, Loyola took the Panthers to overtime in the pair’s meeting in Cedar Falls back on January 26th.

Quad 3 For Host/Quad 1 For Visitor (3/1: 5 Games)

76–160 at Top 75

150. Northwestern Wildcats (6-17, 1-12 Big Ten) at 18. Penn State Nittany Lions (19-5, 9-4), 12 p.m. (BTN)
82. Ole Miss Rebels (13-11, 4-7 SEC) at 24. Kentucky Wildcats (19-5, 9-2), 2 p.m. (ESPN)
147. Vanderbilt Commodores (9-15, 1-10 SEC) at 38. Florida Gators (15-9, 7-4), 8 p.m. (SECN)
107. Washington State Cougars (14-11, 5-7 Pac-12) at 50. USC Trojans (18-7, 7-5), 8 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks National, Washington, & L.A.)
114. Pacific Tigers (20-8, 8-4 WCC) at 37. Saint Mary’s Gaels (20-6, 7-4), 8 p.m. (Stadium)

All five home teams will be favored to record wins out of this group. However, winning may not come easily to Saint Mary’s, who lost at Pacific after four overtimes. Plus, it promises to be a special night at my alma mater, as Vanderbilt is the opponent for a very special occasion: Billy Donovan Court night.

Quad 1 For Host/Quad 3 For Visitor (1/3: 2 Games)

Top 30 at 136–240

5. Dayton Flyers (22-2, 11-0 A 10) at 171. UMass Minutemen (10-14, 4-7), 12:30 p.m. (NBCSN)
21. BYU Cougars (20-7, 9-3 WCC) at 208. San Diego Toreros (9-18, 2-10), 10 p.m. (CBSSN)

Dayton will look to record a 14th straight win before traveling to VCU on Tuesday night, while BYU travels to San Diego in search of their sixth victory in succession.

Quad 2 For Host/Quad 3 For Visitor (2/3: 4 Games)

31–75 at 136–240

31. Wisconsin Badgers (14-10, 7-6 Big Ten) at 168. Nebraska Cornhuskers (7-17, 2-11), 2:15 p.m. (BTN)
61. UNCG Spartans (20-6, 10-3 SoCon) at 205. Mercer Bears (13-13, 7-6), 4:30 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))
57. Yale Bulldogs (18-5, 6-1 Ivy) at 151. Penn Quakers (12-8, 4-3), 6 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))
46. Utah State Aggies (20-7, 9-5 MW) at 156. Fresno State Bulldogs (9-16, 5-9), 10 p.m. (ESPNU)

Wisconsin and Utah State will look to avoid potentially catastrophic road losses, while UNCG will aim to stay within touching distance of the SoCon co-leaders. As for Yale and Penn, the Bulldogs have re-established control of the Ivy race thanks to Friday’s win at Princeton, while the Quakers are now in danger of missing Ivy Madness after their home loss to Brown.

Quad 3 For Host/Quad 2 For Visitor (3/2: 3 Games)

76–160 at 76–135

132. College of Charleston Cougars (15-11, 9-5 CAA) at 129. Northeastern Huskies (12-13, 6-7), 12 p.m. (FloHoops.com ($))
149. Old Dominion Monarchs (11-5, 7-6 C-USA) at 88. North Texas Mean Green (17-9, 11-2), 2 p.m. (ESPNU)
92. Pittsburgh Panthers (15-10, 6-8 ACC) at 76. Virginia Tech Hokies (14-10, 5-8), 6 p.m. (ACCN)

With Pitt and Virginia Tech fading out of the at-large picture, the CAA and C-USA contests here are the most intriguing. In the first, Charleston will look to avoid being swept on both its Northeastern road swing and by Northeastern outright, thanks to the Huskies’ three-point win at TD Arena. In the C-USA matchup, North Texas can head into bonus play with sole possession of the league lead by defeating last season’s NCAA rep.

Quad 4 For Host/Quad 1 For Visitor (4/1: 4 Games)

161–353 at Top 75

237. Saint Joseph’s Hawks (4-20, 0-11 A 10) at 34. Rhode Island Rams (18-6, 10-2), 12 p.m. (CBSSN)
169. La Salle Explorers (11-12, 2-9 A 10) at 75. Saint Louis Billikens (17-7, 6-5), 2:30 p.m. (NBCSN)
163. Chattanooga Mocs (16-10, 7-6 SoCon) at 73. Furman Paladins (21-5, 11-2), 4 p.m. (ESPN3)
315. NJIT Highlanders (7-17, 4-7 ASUN) at 56. Liberty Flames (23-3, 9-2), 7 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))

At this point, Rhode Island is the only one of the four Top 75 home teams above that has a legitimate shot at an at-large. Furman and Liberty need to defend their home floors for tournament seeding purposes. The Paladins, in particular, can’t get caught looking ahead to Wednesday’s trip to ETSU.

Quad 3 For Both Teams (3/3: 1 Game)

76–160 at 136–240

115. UC Irvine Anteaters (16-10, 8-2 Big West) at 199. Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors (14-9, 5-4), 12 a.m. 02/16 (ESPN2)

This is a potential Big West Tournament final, with UC Irvine looking for a repeat of the 74-60 win it claimed at home to open league play.

Quad 2 For Host/Quad 4 For Visitor (2/4: 1 Game)

31–75 at 241–353

41. ETSU Buccaneers (22-4, 11-2 SoCon) at 303. VMI Keydets (7-19, 2-11), 1 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))

ETSU only defeated VMI by six in Johnson City back on January 11th.

Quad 4 For Host/Quad 2 For Visitor (4/2: 2 Games)

161–353 at 76–135

309. UNCW Seahawks (8-19, 3-11 CAA) at 126. Hofstra Pride (19-7, 10-3), 4 p.m. (FloHoops.com ($))
304. Columbia Lions (6-17, 1-6 Ivy) at 108. Harvard Crimson (15-7, 4-3), 7 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))

Hofstra, currently a game up on Delaware in the CAA race, only defeated UNCW by a bucket in North Carolina on January 16th. Harvard, meanwhile, will look to record its second straight Ivy home win and third overall.

Quad 4 For Host/Quad 3 For Visitor (4/3: 2 Games)

161–353 at 136–240

226. Brown Bears (12-8, 5-2 Ivy) at 188. Princeton Tigers (10-10, 5-2), 6 p.m. (ESPN+ ($))
181. Delaware Fighting Blue Hens (19-7, 9-4 CAA) at 179. William & Mary Tribe (17-10, 9-5), 4 p.m. (FloHoops.com ($))

One night after falling to Yale, Princeton welcomes a Brown team that won at the Palestra on Friday to Jadwin. In the third of the trio of clashes at the top of the CAA, Delaware will look to solidify its hold on second by reversing the 77-68 home loss it took from William & Mary on January 16th.
