vs.
Florida Gators (SEC) (5-0)
approx. 10 p.m. (ESPNU)

The bookends of Thursday’s quadruple-header were close games plagued by poor officiating. Indiana State was the the victim of a few questionable calls late in a 73-71 loss to Iowa State, while a total of 51 fouls were called in Florida’s plucky 81-76 victory over Seton Hall. Three Gators and one Pirate (Khadeen Harrington) fouled out.

This morning, the Cyclones will face Miami, who pulled away from Stanford late, in the first semifinal. Later, in an inexplicable 10 p.m. Eastern tip time in Florida, the Gators will take on Gonzaga for the first time since 2000.

approx. 9:30 p.m. (AXS TV)
ODU

Baylor and Louisville will meet in this afternoon’s final after each picked up relatively easy semifinal wins on Thanksgiving afternoon. The Bears dominated Michigan State inside to prevail 73-58, while the Cardinals took down Wichita State 62-52 in a game that, much like Louisville’s win over Old Dominion on Wednesday night, was not one for fans of crisp offense.

NIT Season Tip-Off Finals (Primer)

FSU
Consolation
Florida State Seminoles (ACC) (4-1)
vs.
Illinois Fighting Illini (Big Ten) (4-2)
12:30 p.m. (ESPNU)

vs.
West Virginia Mountaineers (Big 12) (4-0)
approx. 3 p.m. (ESPN2)
WVU

Yesterday afternoon, Temple rallied from 18 down in the second half—on the strength of some amazing perimeter shooting—to topple Florida State 89-86. West Virginia, on the other hand, had an easier time of it with Illinois, prevailing by 32, 89-57.

Directv Wooden Legacy Semifinals (Primer)

New Mexico
Consolation No. 1

vs.
Cal State Northridge Matadors (Big West) (2-3)
3 p.m. (ESPNU)

vs.

9:30 p.m. (ESPN3)
Nebraska
Dayton
Semifinal No. 2
Nebraska Cornhuskers (Big Ten) (4-0)
vs.
UCLA Bruins (Pac-12) (5-0)
approx. 12 a.m. 11/26 (ESPN2)
UCLA

The four quarterfinals went chalk, with the exception of Nebraska’s 80-78 victory over Dayton, whose furious late rally was not enough. The Cornhuskers get a blazing hot UCLA squad in the nightcap. Earlier in the day in Fullerton, Virginia Tech meets Texas A&M in a showdown of tournament hopefuls.

Emerald Coast Classic Semifinals (Primer)

CBSSN will air both games.

Virginia
Virginia Cavaliers (ACC) (4-0)
vs.
Iowa Hawkeyes (Big Ten) (3-1)
7 p.m.
Iowa
Memphis
Memphis Tigers (American) (4-0)
vs.
Providence Friars (Big East) (3-1)
approx. 9:30 p.m.
Providence

Well, now that Austin Nichols has been dismissed from the Virginia roster, we won’t get to see him possibly line up against his former team, Memphis, in the final. Even without him, the Cavaliers look like the favorites here, as they have a bit more talent than the Tigers or the two other 2016 NCAA teams in the field—Iowa and Providence .

The Emerald Coast TV YouTube channel will air the two visitors’ bracket semifinals. Up first, Savannah State (2-3) and St. Francis-Brooklyn (0-3) (12 p.m.), followed by Grambling State (1-3) and UTRGV (0-5) (approx. 2:30 p.m.)

Barclays Center Classic Semifinals (Primer)

ASN will air both games.

Kansas St
Kansas State Wildcats (Big 12) (4-0)
vs.
Boston College Eagles (ACC) (3-1)
7 p.m.
BC
Maryland
Maryland Terrapins (Big Ten) (5-0)
vs.
Richmond Spiders (A 10) (3-1)
approx. 9:30 p.m.
Richmond

Even though Boston College looks improved and Kansas State and Richmond are competitive, this is still very much Maryland‘s tournament to win.

Global Sports Classic Semifinals (Primer)

MWN will stream both games.

Washington
Washington Huskies (Pac-12) (3-1)
vs.
Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (C-USA) (3-1)
8 p.m.
WKU
TCU
TCU Horned Frogs (Big 12) (4-0)
at
UNLV Runnin' Rebels (MW) (3-1)
approx. 10:30 p.m.
UNLV

Of these four, Washington has the best tournament chance right now, which doesn’t say all that much. Should the Huskies beat Western Kentucky, and TCU prevail over host UNLV (or if both get the reverse result), they’ll play twice in a row. They’re already set to meet in Fort Worth on Wednesday night in a pre-scheduled game.

Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational Finals (Primer)

FS1 will air both games.

Vanderbilt
Consolation
Vanderbilt Commodores (SEC) (2-3)
vs.
Santa Clara Broncos (WCC) (3-3)
8 p.m.
Santa Clara
Butler
Championship
Butler Bulldogs (Big East) (5-0)
vs.
Arizona Wildcats (Pac-12) (5-0)
approx. 10:30 p.m.
Arizona

Arizona had a surprisingly difficult time with Santa Clara, but moved on to tonight’s final with a 69-61 victory. The Wildcats will take on Butler, a 76-66 victor over struggling Vanderbilt. A Bulldog win would give the Big East a fourth exempt tournament crown already this season.

GCI Great Alaska Shootout Semifinals (Primer)

GCI will air all four games live (Alaska only).

Buffalo
Buffalo Bulls (MAC)
at
Alaska Anchorage Seawolves (DII, GNAC)
UAA
Oakland
Oakland Golden Grizzlies (Horizon)
vs.
Nevada Wolf Pack (MW)
Nevada
UC Davis
UC Davis Aggies (Big West)
vs.
Weber State Wildcats (Big Sky)
WeberSt
Drake
Drake Bulldogs (MVC)
vs.
Iona Gaels (MAAC)
Iona

If you want to stay up really late, you can see a semifinal lineup that features all three of the 2016 NCAA squads playing in Anchorage, along with one of San Diego State’s main competitors in the Mountain West.

Non-Tournament Action Of Note

South Carolina State Bulldogs (1-3) at Holy Cross Crusaders (1-3) (Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational), 1 p.m. (Patriot League Network)

A likely MEAC title challenger takes on the defending Patriot League Tournament champs in the first of a three-game round-robin mini-tourney.

Men Vs. Cancer Classic

North Florida Ospreys (2-3) at North Dakota (3-0), 4:30 p.m. (ESPN3)
CS-Bakersfield Roadrunners (3-1) at Wright State Raiders (3-1), approx. 7 p.m. (ESPN3)

This is a rather decent mid-major round-robin event, as it features one 2016 NCAA squad and another that reached the NIT.

Stony Brook Seawolves (0-3) at Towson Tigers (2-2) (Barclays Center Classic), 5 p.m. (CAA.tv)

The winner of this one gets the Hampton-Robert Morris victor in the final of this event’s subregional.

UT Martin Skyhawks (3-1) at Kentucky Wildcats (5-0) (Bluegrass Showcase), 7 p.m. (SEC Network)

Both teams are perfect in this round-robin, but you really don’t expect the Skyhawks to take the crown, do you?

Marshall Thundering Herd (4-0) at Ohio State Buckeyes (5-0) (Global Sports Invitational), 7 p.m. (BTN)

The winner will take the championship of this exempt round-robin.

SMU Mustangs (4-1) at USC Trojans (4-0), 7 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks National and LA)

The Trojans are off to a surprising perfect start, one that includes a win at Texas A&M.

Long Beach State 49ers (1-6) at Fla Gulf Coast Eagles (2-3) (Battle 4 Atlantis), 8 p.m. (ESPN3)

The 49ers lost to Binghamton on Thanksgiving night. The subregional host will be an even stiffer test.

Fresno State Bulldogs (2-2) at Oregon State Beavers (2-3) (Orange Express Showcase), 9 p.m. (Pac-12 Network Oregon)

Two 2016 NCAA squads who have been struggling meet in this exempt round-robin’s showcase in Corvallis. The Beavers are on a three-game skid.

Wyoming Cowboys (3-1) at California Golden Bears (2-1), 11 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks National and Bay Area)

The Golden Bears needed OT to defeat the Cowboys by six in Laramie last season.
