Big Monday on ESPN delivers a key test for the Big East leader and a certified bubble game in the Big 12, but there are also key SWAC and CAA matchups featured on tonight's schedule.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Pittsburgh Panthers, ESPN (7 p.m. ET)
The Fighting Irish are still looking for their first true road win, and they're not likely to get it in Pittsburgh, where the Panthers are nearly unbeatable.
KenPom.com prediction: Panthers 76-65, 64 poss.
Texas Southern Tigers at Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils, ESPNU (7 p.m. ET)
This is the first of a pair important road games for the Tigers in the context of the SWAC race. Sitting at 6-0, Texas Southern owns a one-game lead in the loss column over the Delta Devils, who plays host tonight, and Jackson State, who Texas Southern will attempt to sweep on Saturday in Jackson.
KenPom.com prediction: Tigers 67-64, 71 poss.
James Madison Dukes at Hofstra Pride, CAA/MASN/ESPN3/Full Court (7 p.m. ET)
The Pride look to keep their place at the top of the CAA with a win. If they do top the Dukes (5-3, 2 games back), Hofstra will likely continue to share the top spot with VCU, who visits winless Towson tonight.
KenPom.com prediction: Pride 73-72, 68 poss.
Baylor Bears at Kansas St. Wildcats, ESPN (9 p.m. ET)
With a loss to the moderately resurgent Bears, the Wildcats would fall to a stunning 1-5 in the Big 12. In their next seven, the Wildcats play Kansas twice, visit Colorado (who they lost to in Manhattan), and face a whole bunch of bottom-feeders, so this could be their final legit shot at a quality win in awhile.
KenPom.com prediction: Wildcats 69-66, 68 poss.
George Mason Patriots at Delaware Blue Hens, CAA/MASN/ESPN3/Full Court (7 p.m. ET)
The Patriots can retain sole possession of second place with a win over the Blue Hens, who already own a home win over Old Dominion.
KenPom.com prediction: Patriots 70-60, 63 poss.
