College Basketball On TV For January 15, 2011

Pithy comments for a busy Saturday slate are after the jump. (Sorry, I spent most of my energy on Wednesday and Thursday evening working on Bubble Watch for SB Nation.)

Four-Star

Marquette Golden Eagles at Louisville Cardinals, ESPN2 (11 a.m. ET)
Marquette is looking good after Monday's win over Notre Dame, but are in need of a road win. Cardinals are licking their wounds after falling in their first major road test at Nova on Wednesday.
KenPom.com prediction: Cardinals 81-73, 71 poss.

Vanderbilt Commodores at Tennessee Volunteers, ESPN (12 p.m. ET)
The Volunteeers are still in search of their first SEC win after a road loss at Arkansas and home OT defeat to Florida. The Commodores, fresh off a nice home win over Georgia, look to further damage their archrival's NCAA profile.
KenPom.com prediction: Commodores 72-70, 70 poss.

Maryland Terrapins at Villanova Wildcats, CBS (1 p.m. ET)
The Terrapins are lacking a quality win for their resume. A win over the Wildcats in Philly would fit the bill.
KenPom.com prediction: Wildcats 73-68, 74 poss.

Missouri Tigers at Texas A&M Aggies, ESPN2 (1 p.m. ET)
The Aggies look to stay unbeaten in the Big 12, but can they slow down the Tigers?
KenPom.com prediction: Aggies 74-69, 71 poss.

Oklahoma St. Cowboys at Colorado Buffaloes, Big 12 Network/Altitude/ESPN3/Full Court (1:30 p.m. ET)
The Cowboys face their second consecutive tough road test, with the Buffs looking to pull off their third straight league upset.
KenPom.com prediction: Buffaloes 74-70, 67 poss.

Illinois Fighting Illini at Wisconsin Badgers, Big Ten Network (3 p.m. ET)
The Illini won by eight in Champaign on January 2nd, but they'll be hard pressed to complete the sweep.
KenPom.com prediction: Badgers 64-59, 58 poss.

N.C. State Wolfpack at Florida St. Seminoles, ACC Network/ESPN3/Full Court (4 p,m. ET)
The Seminoles have to avoid the letdown after their huge win over Duke Wednesday night.
KenPom.com prediction: Seminoles 72-63, 71 poss.

Penn St. Nittany Lions at Ohio St. Buckeyes, Big Ten Network (5:30 p.m. ET)
After topping Illinois and Michigan State at home, the Nittany Lions look to claim their first real road victim of the season. The Buckeyes have been playing close ones of late and may be ripe for the upset.
KenPom.com prediction: Buckeyes 75-57, 62 poss.

Dayton Flyers at Xavier Musketeers, CBS College (8 p.m. ET)
This battle of Southwestern Ohio has serious bubble implications. Both teams have iffy profiles at the moment and would love a boost over their archrival.
KenPom.com prediction: Musketeers 66-59, 64 poss.

Three-Star

Cincinnati Bearcats at Syracuse Orange, Big East Network/SNY/CST/MASN/BHSN/ESPN3/Full Court (12 p.m. ET)
While Rick Jackson and the Orange's limited interior talent may be challenged by Cincy's frontcourt corps, the 'Cuse should hand the Bearcats another road loss.
KenPom.com prediction: Orange 70-62, 67 poss.

Northwestern Wildcats at Michigan St. Spartans, Big Ten Network (1 p.m. ET)
The Spartans defeated Northwestern by three in Evanston, after a furious comeback by the Wildcats.
KenPom.com prediction: Spartans 75-67, 67 poss.

South Carolina Gamecocks at Florida Gators, SEC Network/ESPN3/Full Court (1:30 p.m. ET)
On paper, the Gators should win this one easily, but the Gamecocks always seem to give them issues, both in Gainesville and Columbia.
KenPom.com prediction: Gators 72-60, 67 poss.

Arizona St. Sun Devils at Arizona Wildcats, FSN (2:30 p.m. ET)
The two Grand Canyon State rivals meet on what looks to be an emotional day in Tucson.
KenPom.com prediction: Wildcats 70-55, 65 poss.

Jackson St. Tigers at Texas Southern Tigers, ESPN2 (3 p.m. ET)
These two are playing for the SWAC lead, which may not mean much ultimately, given how crazy the conference tournament can be.
KenPom.com prediction: Texas Southern 60-57, 62 poss.

S. Carolina St. Bulldogs at Morgan St. Bears, ESPN2 (5 p.m. ET)
The Bulldogs are a game behind the unbeaten Bears (and Bethune-Cookman and Delaware State) in the MEAC race.
KenPom.com prediction: Bears 81-64, 73 poss.

Georgia Bulldogs at Mississippi Rebels, SEC on FSN/FS South/Sun Sports/FS Southwest/FS Houston/ESPN3/Full Court (5 p.m. ET)
The Bulldogs will be busing down from Nashville, where they lost to Vanderbilt on Wednesday. It's a quick turnaround for the Rebels, who are 0-2 in the SEC after dropping a home game to Miss. State Thursday night.
KenPom.com prediction: Rebels 72-67, 67 poss.

Boston College Eagles at Miami Hurricanes, ESPNU (6 p.m. ET)
The Eagles look to stay atop the ACC (they have a half-game lead on UNC at the moment), but Miami is not an easy place to win.
KenPom.com prediction: Hurricanes 77-74, 64 poss.

San Diego St. Aztecs at New Mexico Lobos, CBS College (6 p.m. ET)
The Aztecs took care of UNLV at home Wednesday night and now own the nation's longest winning streak. The Lobos would love to see it end in The Pit, one of the toughest places to play in the entire country.
KenPom.com prediction: Aztecs 65-63, 63 poss.

Two-Star

Georgetown Hoyas at Rutgers Scarlet Knights, ESPNU (12 p.m. ET)
The Hoyas will look to get things on track with a two-game trip to New Jersey, where both the Scarlet Knights and Seton Hall are struggling.
KenPom.com prediction: Hoyas 69-64, 64 poss.

Texas Tech Red Raiders at Kansas St. Wildcats, Big 12 Network/YES/Full Court/ESPN3 (1:30 p.m. ET)
Curtis Kelly returns from a six-game suspension. Just in time, as the Wildcats are in desperate need of a win.
KenPom.com prediction: Wildcats 82-68, 74 poss.

Alabama Crimson Tide at Arkansas Razorbacks, SEC Network/ESPN3/Full Court (1:30 p.m. ET)
Alabama (2-0) can take control of the West race (for what it's worth) with a win in Fayetteville. The Hogs followed up a nice win over Tennessee with a bad loss to LSU.
KenPom.com prediction: Crimson Tide 61-59, 67 poss.

Virginia Cavaliers at Duke Blue Devils, ESPN (2 p.m. ET)
Pity the Cavaliers, who head into Cameron Indoor after a Blue Devil loss.
KenPom.com prediction: Blue Devils 79-56, 65 poss.

Nebraska Cornhuskers at Kansas Jayhawks, ESPNU (2 p.m. ET)
The Huskers lost their first true road game of the season at Missouri on Wednesday. They should lose their second straight in Lawrence, though the Jayhawks have the habit of letting teams stay or get back in games.
KenPom.com prediction: Jayhawks 72-58, 69 poss.

UCLA Bruins at Oregon Ducks, OSN/Prime Ticket/CSS/CSN Northwest/FCS Pacific (5 p.m. ET)
The Ducks look to pick up their second straight win at the new Matthew Knight Arena.
KenPom.com prediction: Bruins 72-69, 70 poss.

UNLV Runnin' Rebels at Air Force Falcons, The Mtn. (6 p.m. ET)
The Falcons have steadily improved as the season has gone on, and they'll look to stun the Rebels, who are looking to rebound from Wednesday's loss at San Diego State.
KenPom.com prediction: Rebels 70-59, 64 poss.

Baylor Bears at Iowa St. Cyclones, ISU Sports/ESPN3/Full Court (6 p.m. ET)
The Cyclones played Kansas close in Ames on Wednesday, while the Bears have yet to really impress.
KenPom.com prediction: Cyclones 69-67, 70 poss.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Virginia Tech Hokies, ACC Network/ESPN3/Full Court (8 p.m. ET)
The Hokies need to rebound from Thursday's come-from-ahead loss to North Carolina. A loss to a terrible Demon Deacon team could irreparably harm their NCAA chances.
KenPom.com prediction: Hokies 82-61, 70 poss.

Florida Atlantic Owls at Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, WKYU/FCS Central (8 p.m. ET)
The Owls stand at 5-0 in the Sun Belt, while the Hilltoppers have yet to win a league game.
KenPom.com prediction: Hilltoppers 69-65, 67 poss.

USC Trojans at Oregon St. Beavers, FSN Northwest/FCS Pacific (10:30 p.m. ET)
The Trojans, who have slowly gotten back into the NCAA conversation, simply cannot get swept by the Oregon schools.
KenPom.com prediction: Trojans 70-63, 67 poss.
