College Basketball On TV For January 12, 2011

Make sure your remote control's batteries are fresh, as the device will be getting a workout on a busy night of college basketball action. More on the slate after the jump.

Four-Star

Ohio St. Buckeyes at Michigan Wolverines, Big Ten Network (6:30 p.m. ET)
The Wolverines gave Kansas, one of the top seeds in this week's bracket a real fight Sunday. Can they finish the job against the Buckeyes tonight?
KenPom.com prediction: Buckeyes 67-57, 62 poss.

Pittsburgh Panthers at Georgetown Hoyas, ESPN (7 p.m. ET)
The Hoyas look to stop a two-game skid against a Panther team that's been a bit more offensive than expected.
KenPom.com prediction: Panthers 72-71, 64 poss.

Louisville Cardinals at Villanova Wildcats, ESPN2 (7 p.m. ET)
With apologies to Western Kentucky and South Florida, this is the Cardinals' first serious road game of the season. Look at how well the trip to Nova worked for the last team in that position, Cincinnati.
KenPom.com prediction: Wildcats 76-72, 72 poss.

Syracuse Orange at St. John's Red Storm, ESPNU (7 p.m. ET)
The Red Storm look to rebound from Saturday's loss at Notre Dame by handing the Orange their first loss of the season.
KenPom.com prediction: Orange 69-65, 63 poss.

Oklahoma St. Cowboys at Texas A&M Aggies, Big 12 Network/ESPN3/Full Court (8 p.m. ET)
The Cowboys handled a decent team, Kansas State, at home on Saturday, but handling the early Big 12 leaders is a different challenge altogether.
KenPom.com prediction: Aggies 67-61, 64 poss.

Georgia Bulldogs at Vanderbilt Commodores, SEC Network/ESPN3/Full Court (8 p.m. ET)
The Bulldogs opened SEC play with a stunning win over Kentucky, while the Commodores were disappointing in an OT loss in Columbia. This is a key game in the SEC's more competitive half.
KenPom.com prediction: Commodores 72-61, 66 poss.

UNLV Runnin' Rebels at San Diego St. Aztecs, CBS College (10 p.m. ET)
The Aztecs are in need of a statement win after a couple of tough victories on the road to start the MWC campaign, while the Rebels are in need of an upset to get back in the national picture.
KenPom.com prediction: Aztecs 66-64, 65 poss.

Three-Star

Nebraska Cornhuskers at Missouri Tigers, Mizzou Sports/FS Midwest/ESPN3/Full Court (7 p.m. ET)
This is the Cornhuskers' first true road game of the season. Facing a Tiger team that's sure to be angry after falling at Colorado is not an ideal situation for them.
KenPom.com prediction: Tigers 70-65, 70 poss.

Duke Blue Devils at Florida St. Seminoles, ESPN (9 p.m. ET)
This one would rate higher if the Seminoles could score. Duke should be able to easily outscore them in the end.
KenPom.com prediction: Blue Devils 77-65, 76 poss.

Two-Star

South Florida Bulls at Cincinnati Bearcats, Big East Network/FS Ohio/BHSN/MASN/MSG+/ESPN3/Full Court (7 p.m. ET)
The Bearcats look to rebound from Sunday's loss at Nova against one of the Big East's worst.
KenPom.com prediction: Bearcats 66-52, 61 poss.

Maryland Terrapins at Wake Forest Demon Deacons, ACC Network/ESPN3/Full Court (8 p.m. ET)
The Terps put up a nice fight against Duke Sunday, but they can't afford to fall to a bad Wake team, even in Winston-Salem.
KenPom.com prediction: Terrapins 85-67, 77 poss.

Northwestern Wildcats at Iowa Hawkeyes, Big Ten Network (8;30 p.m. ET)
The Wildcats look to win their second Big Ten win in a row. Sure, they won't be great wins, but they'll be victories nonetheless.
KenPom.com prediction: Hawkeyes 71-69, 67 poss.

Kansas Jayhawks at Iowa St. Cyclones, ESPN2 (9 p.m. ET)
The Jayhawks finally get conference play underway.
KenPom.com prediction: Jayhawks 74-65, 74 poss.

South Carolina Gamecocks at Alabama Crimson Tide, SEC on CSS/BHSN/ESPN3/Full Court (9 p.m. ET)
Carolina looks to build on their stirring win Saturday, while the Crimson Tide would like to establish themselves as serious contenders in the West.
KenPom.com prediction: Crimson Tide 67-60, 69 poss.

Colorado St. Rams at New Mexico Lobos, The Mtn. (10 p.m. ET)
The Lobos can't get caught looking ahead to Saturday's game with San Diego State, as the Rams have bracket hopes of their own.
KenPom.com prediction: Lobos 76-67, 66 poss.

Nevada Wolf Pack at Idaho Vandals, ESPN2 (11 p.m. ET)
The Vandals look to stay a game behind Utah State and Boise State in the WAC, while the Wolf Pack would just like to get to .500 in the league.
KenPom.com prediction: Vandals 70-65, 67 poss.
