Conference Tournament Go-Round: March 10

Tuesday night saw three bids handed out. The Sun Belt final turned out to be the championship game of the night, as the Horizon and Summit finals resulted in comfortable wins for the top seeds.

Sun Belt: Second seed North Texas claimed its third-ever NCAA bid with a thrilling 66-63 win over top-seeded Troy. (recap)

Horizon: Butler pounded Wright State, 70-45, to ensure one bid from the Horizon. (recap)

Summit: Top-seeded Oakland had a relatively easy time with two seed IUPUI, winning 76-64 to advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005. It's the Golden Grizzlies' second trip ever. (recap)

Two more teams will book their places in the field of 65 this evening. All times are p.m. Eastern.

Northeast

Second-seeded Robert Morris visits top seed Quinnipiac for the conference's lone bid (7, ESPN2). The two tied for the regular season crown, but the Bobcats host as they won the only head-to-head meeting, 87-79 in Moon Township, Pa. on February 20.

Big Sky

The No. 1 seed Weber State will face fourth-seeded Montana for the title (9, ESPN2). The Grizzlies upset two seed Northern Colorado, keeping them from booking their first-ever bid. The Wildcats defeated two-time defending champion Portland State in the late semifinal.

Atlantic 10

The A10 Tournament is off until Friday, when Tuesday's four winners will face the top four seeds in the quarterfinals. Three of the four hosts won, with Charlotte's bubble now officially burst after a home loss to UMass.

Big East

The Big East field is down to 12. St. John's was the only lower seed to win Tuesday, as they knocked UConn out of the Tournament race. While the Red Storm and USF claimed relatively easy wins in the afternoon session. Seton Hall and Cincinnati won evening thrillers. Seeds 5 through 8 jump into the fray today. Big 12

The MEAC Tournament continues in Winston-Salem with the third first-round game. On Tuesday, Bethune-Cookman advanced by knocking off their archrival FAMU and North Carolina A&T upended Howard.

Mountain West

Normally, there would be two opening round games in Los Angeles, but since USC's athletic department banned the basketball team from this postseason, only one is on the schedule for tonight.
