College Basketball On TV For December 30

It's a fairly light schedule on this second to last night of 2010, but there are still a few games of interest.

The best of the Big Five--Temple and Villanova--meet just outside of the City of Brotherly Love in a game that has real national implications (ESPN2, 7 p.m. ET).

Old Dominion will look to add a really big win to their at-large file as they visit Missouri (Mizzou Sports/FS Midwest/WSKY/ESPN3/Full Court, 8 p.m. ET), but expect the Tigers to try to speed the Monarchs out of the game.

Keith Benson and Oakland look to move to 4-0 in the Summit. They take on Oral Roberts, who sits at 2-1 after dropping a close one to IPFW on Tuesday night, in Tulsa (FCS Central/ESPN3/Full Court, 8 p.m. ET).

The night closes with a pair of Grand Canyon State vs. Beaver State Pac-10 openers as Arizona visits Oregon, a game that will be played at Mac Court (OSN/CSN Northwest/CSS/FCS Atlantic, 10 p.m. ET) and Arizona State plays disappointing Oregon State (FS Arizona/FSN Northwest/FCS Pacific, 10:30 p.m. ET).

There are two other national options tonight...

  • Alcorn State at Mississippi, SEC on FSN/FS South/FS Florida/FS Houston/FS Southwest/FSN Rocky Mountain/ESPN3/Full Court (7 p.m. ET)
  • Central Arkansas at Oklahoma, Sooner Sports/FS Oklahoma/ESPN3/Full Court (8 p.m. ET)

For broadcast information for games slated to be aired regionally, like Charlotte at Mercer, Iowa State at Virginia, Lipscomb at Memphis, visit Matt Sarz's College Sports on TV site. Another good resource is the schedule page at BB State.

Please share your thoughts about today and tonight's action in the comments, after you sign up for a free SB Nation account, of course.
