It's been a blustery February day here inside the Beltway. Hopefully, the power will stay on so I can enjoy tonight's action.
Louisville @ Notre Dame (ESPN, 7 EST) - The Irish fell apart in OT at Freedom Hall one month ago and have yet to recover.
Temple @ St. Joseph's (ESPN2, 7 EST) - The Hawks, not Xavier or Dayton, lead the A-10 at the moment. The Owls are two games back of their Big Five rivals.
George Mason @ Delaware (ESPNU, 7 EST) - The Patriots can move into a 2nd place tie with Northeastern if they beat the Huskies Saturday, but they have to win in Newark first.
Davidson @ Wofford (MASN, 7 EST) - The Wildcats look to rebound from their first league loss of the season.
Belmont @ Lipscomb (CSS/Full Court, 7 EST) - Even though the Bisons aren't at the top of the A-Sun as they normally are, tonight, they can keep the Bruins from moving into a first-place tie with ETSU and Jacksonville.
Milwaukee @ Cleveland State (TW Milwaukee/STO/Full Court, 7 EST) - Two teams fighting for seeding in the Horizon, with the hopes they (or someone else) can knock Butler off and give them a shot at the auto bid.
Sacred Heart @ Robert Morris (NEC/FSN Pittsburgh/Full Court, 8 EST) - Colonials are four games up in the loss column on the Pioneers and are looking for the season sweep.
UCLA @ Arizona State (ESPN, 9 EST) - The Sun Devils are looking to be the first Pac-10 team to sweep the Bruins in the season series since Washington in 2005-06.
Illinois @ Northwestern (ESPN2, 9 EST) - The lllini are in good shape and could get a protected seed when all is said and done. After losing to Iowa on Saturday, the best Northwestern can hope for is to play spoiler and reach the NIT/CBI/College Insider tourney...unless they manage to win the auto bid.
You can stop laughing now.
Utah State @ Idaho (Altitude, 9 EST) - Aggies look to reach 12-0 in the WAC, but the Vandals aren't quite the pushovers they've been in recent years (4-5 in the WAC).
USC @ Arizona (FSN/selected Comcast Sportsnet outlets, 10 EST) - Battle of two lodged in the middle of the Pac-10. This one is certainly not an elimination game, however. Wildcats have won five straight since Aubrey Coleman used Chase Budinger's face as a doormat. Trojans don't have the out-of-conference resume U of A does.
Gonzaga @ St. Mary's (ESPNU, 11 EST) - Obviously, this game would be far different had Paddy Mills not gotten hurt in the Spokane encounter. The Gaels really need to play with some heart to show the Committee something.
Oregon State @ Washington (FS Northwest/FCS Central, 11 EST) - While the Beavers have grown by leaps and bounds since Craig Robinson took over, the Huskies still handled them by 26 in Corvallis.
