If it wasn't snowing here with ice arriving tonight, I'd be on my way down to Richmond right now to take in Northeastern at VCU down in Richmond. Since it's on ESPNU (9 EST), I'll be sliding my way to a neighborhood bar to enjoy the CAA Game of the Year. In other televised action tonight...
Kentucky @ Ole Miss (ESPN, 7 EST) - I currently have the Wildcats as a 5. They'd be higher if they'd done a bit better outside of the SEC. If they can keep winning in the league, it won't matter. The Rebels, losers of 3 straight, are sliding in the SEC West.
Miami (FL) @ NC State (ESPNU, 7 EST) - The Hurricanes are looking to rebound from a home loss to a hot Virginia Tech team Sunday night. Raleigh may just be the place to do it.
Delaware @ George Mason (Comcast Network/CSS, 7 EST) - With a win, the Patriots will be tied with the Northeastern-VCU loser for second in the league.
Boston College @ Maryland (ESPN2, 7:30 EST) - As bad of a beating as the Terps took Saturday in Durham, they can move to .500 in the ACC with a win tonight.
Purdue @ Wisconsin (ESPN, 9 EST) - The first of the Badgers' four straight losses, a 13-point decision to Purdue in West Lafayette 16 days ago.
Texas @ Baylor (Big 12/YES/MASN/Full Court, 9 EST) - Bears really can't afford a second straight loss to a Big 12 favorite. Luckily for them, they get the Longhorns at home.
BYU @ Utah (the mtn., 10 EST) - This one is only on the traditional list because I'll be at a bar. Big chance for these archrivals to separate themselves slightly from the rest of the MWC lead pack.
Outside of basketball, I've just accepted a new job. This means that I'm going to have an unexpected week and a half off. I'm thinking a road trip of some sort may be in order. Watch this space.
