A late surge by the Golden Eagles in WNIT matchup comes up just short

After breaking a nine year post season streak last season, Marquette is back in tournament play as they host a first round game in the 2013 Women's NIT tonight!

Marquette will face off with Northern Iowa this Friday in the Al McGuire Center in the first round of the 2013 WNIT!

With three teams already into the NCAA tournament, we look at action in eight tournaments today, including two championship games!
