Memphis hires Tranghese, is a Big East Spot to Follow?

Sean Keeley over at Troy Nunes is an Absolute Magician writes that Memphis hired former Big East Commish Mike Tranghese to as a consultant. His job is to help move the Tigers to a BCS conference. With 8 football members, adding a 9th would finally mean the Big East would have 8 conference games, evenly split home and away. With 16 basketball members, however, further growth would seem impossible. John Templon over at Chicago College Basketball writes that DePaul is the team getting the most attention on message boards as a possible target for getting "Templed" from the league.
