5. Washington Huskies (Pac-10 at-large) Last Week: 4 Record: 15-5 overall; 7-2 conference; 2-3 vs. RPI Top 50; 3-1 vs. RPI 51-100; 7-0 vs. RPI 150+; 4-5 Road/Neutral Average RPI win: 133 Loss: 56 RPI: 22 SOS: 38 RPI 1-50 Wins: at Arizona, UCLA RPI 51-100 Wins: at California, Portland, at USC, San Francisco Losses: Kentucky (N), at Texas A&M, Michigan State (N), at Stanford Last Week: lost at Washington State 87-80 This Week: at Oregon State (Thu.), at Oregon (Sat.) The Huskies fell from the four line with a loss at Washington State Sunday, but they have an excellent chance to jump back up with a sweep of the Oregon schools. However, the fact the Huskies have no non-conference wins of note hurts their overall profile.

12. Gonzaga Bulldogs (West Coast at-large) Last Week: 12, Second Round Record: 13-8 overall; 4-3 conference; 1-5 vs. RPI Top 50; 4-1 vs. RPI 51-100; 7-1 vs. RPI 150+; 3-6 Road/Neutral Average RPI win: 168 Loss: 59 RPI: 89 SOS: 55 RPI 1-50 Wins: Xavier RPI 51-100 Wins: Portland, Oklahoma State, Marquette (N), Baylor (N) Bad (RPI 150+) Losses: at Santa Clara Other Losses: San Diego State, at Notre Dame, St. Mary's, Illinois (N), Kansas State (N), at Washington State, at San Francisco Last Week: lost to St. Mary's 73-71, def. San Diego 86-53 This Week: at Portland (Thu.), Memphis (Sat.) The Bulldogs were games back of St. Mary's in the WCC, thanks to a defeat to the Gaels on Thursday, their third straight conference loss. However, St. Mary's' loss to Portland on Saturday, combined with the Bulldogs' rout of San Diego, means they sit two games back. A trip to Portland awaits on Wednesday, then a home game against Memphis, which is a Bracket Buster for all intents and purposes.

12. Penn State Nittany Lions (Big Ten at-large) New Entrant Record: 12-8 overall; 5-4 conference; 3-3 vs. RPI Top 50; 1-4 vs. RPI 51-100; 5-0 vs. RPI 150+; 1-5 Road/Neutral Average RPI win: 127 Loss: 59 RPI: 45 SOS: 6 RPI 1-50 Wins: Wisconsin, Michigan State, Illinois RPI 51-100 Wins: Duquesne Other Losses: at Ohio State, at Purdue, Purdue, at Virginia Tech, Maryland, at Michigan, at Mississippi, Maine Last Week: def. Iowa 65-51, def. Wisconsin 56-52 This Week: at Illinois (Tue.), Michigan (Sun.) Sure, Penn State's best wins have come at home, but they at least have some quality wins, unlike so many other bubble teams. The Nittany Lions couldn't afford a loss to the Hawkeyes on Wednesday, and they came through, much like they did in rebounding from a nine-point halftime deficit against Wisconsin on Saturday.

4. Georgetown Hoyas (Big East at-large) Last Week: 5 Record: 17-5 overall; 6-4 conference; 7-5 vs. RPI Top 50; 4-0 vs. RPI 51-100; 5-0 vs. RPI 150+; 9-3 Road/Neutral Average RPI win: 108 Loss: 20 RPI: 5 SOS: 3 RPI 1-50 Wins: Villanova, Louisville, St. John's, Missouri (N), Utah State, at Old Dominion, at Memphis RPI 51-100 Wins: Coastal Carolina (N), at Seton Hall, NC State (N), at Rutgers Losses: Pittsburgh, at Notre Dame, West Virginia, at St. John's, at Temple Last Week: def. St. John's 77-52, won at Villanova 69-66, def. Louisville 62-59 This Week: Providence (Sat.) The Hoyas finally got back to .500 in the Big East by grabbing their first meaningful conference win at home against St. John's with a blizzard roaring outside, and rose above it with a gritty three-point win at Villanova on Saturday. On Monday, they picked up another against a hot Louisville team, even though it wasn't the prettiest game. Now, the Hoyas have a few days off before Providence comes calling on Saturday.

13. Oakland Golden Grizzlies (Summit auto) Record: 15-8 overall; 11-0 conference; 1-5 vs. RPI Top 50; 0-3 vs. RPI 51-100; 12-0 vs. RPI 150+; 9-7 Road/Neutral Average RPI win: 202 Loss: 41 RPI: 73 SOS: 130 Last Week: def. Oral Roberts 88-85, def. Centenary 100-70 This Week: at Western Illinois (Thu.), at IUPUI (Sun.) The Golden Grizzlies remain unbeaten in the Summit, but Oral Roberts, who Oakland defeated by 8 on December 30th, nearly handed them their first conference loss on Thursday night. On Saturday, the Grizzlies handed Centenary yet another loss, as the Gents may well see their final Division I season be a perfectly imperfect one. But for Oakland, Sunday's game at IUPUI may be their biggest obstacle to a perfect league mark.
