While the 16 teams in Charleston and Puerto Rico take a day off, a champion will be crowned in Brooklyn.

On Friday night, Alabama claimed the first early season tournament crown of the 2012-13 campaign by hammering Villanova in the 2K Sports Classic Benefitting Wounded Warrior Project championship game in New York City. Tonight, just over the Brooklyn Bridge, trophy number two of the young season will be handed out.

The four teams in the winners' bracket get Saturday off, leaving the four quarterfinal losers to play for their spots in Monday's placement games today. Iona, a 2012 NCAA at-large team, is the only one of the four favorites from yesterday to fall into the consolation bracket.
