College Basketball On TV For February 20, 2011

I hoped to have an updated S-curve in this space this morning, but yesterday, a span of 12 or so hours that I coined "National Bubble Struggle Day," made things even messier than they've been. That means a little more study and review will be required, especially with some interesting games on tap for this Sunday.

More about those TV games of impact after the jump.

Star-divide

Ohio St. Buckeyes at Purdue Boilermakers, CBS (1 p.m. ET)
With Kansas, Pitt, and Texas all losing this week, the Buckeyes could move back to No. 1 if they top the Boilermakers, who are looking to move up the protected seed ranks.
KenPom.com projection: Buckeyes 69-68, 66 poss.

Florida Gators at LSU Tigers, ESPN (1 p.m. ET)
The Gators should win this, but they've typically struggled in Baton Rouge and Chandler Parsons will be out with a deep thigh bruised suffered eight days ago against Kentucky.
KenPom.com projection: Gators 66-54, 62 poss.

Cleveland St. Vikings at Old Dominion Monarchs, ESPN2 (1 p.m. ET)
The BracketBusters finale pits a Vikings team that needs a quality non-conference win to stand a reasonable at-large chance against a Monarch team that's looking decent after the events of Saturday.
KenPom.com projection: Monarchs 62-58, 61 poss.

Clemson Tigers at Miami Hurricanes, ESPNU (3:30 p.m. ET)
Consider this one a bubble elimination game, with the Hurricanes needing a win more because of a weaker performance in the ACC, even though they have a bit more on the non-conference side of the resume than the Tigers, losers of two straight.
KenPom.com projection: Tigers 65-64, 62 poss.

N.C. State Wolfpack at Maryland Terrapins, FSN/Comcast SportsNet (5:30 p.m. ET)
The Wolfpack damaged Clemson's chances on Thursday, and they'd love to do the same to the Terps, a team with an even less impressive profile, tonight. That won't be so easy with the game in College Park.
KenPom.com projection: Terrapins 78-65, 71 poss.

Penn St. Nittany Lions at Wisconsin Badgers, Big Ten Network (6 p.m. ET)
The Nittany Lions have done a nice job of picking up quality wins in the Big Ten, including one over the Badgers, but not on the road. They'll be hard pressed to reverse that trend at Fortress Kohl.
KenPom.com projection: Badgers 64-53, 52 poss.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Duke Blue Devils, FSN/Comcast SportsNet (7:45 p.m. ET)
The Blue Devils should pick up an easy win, which will help them in their quest for a top seed, especially with a lot of their competitors dropping games this week.
KenPom.com projection: Blue Devils 85-62, 74 poss.

UCLA Bruins at California Golden Bears, FSN/Comcast SportsNet (10 p.m. ET)
The Bruins can pick up their seventh straight win and set up a big game against Arizona next Saturday at Pauley.
KenPom.com projection: Golden Bears 72-71, 69 poss.

For info on other Sunday games (like St. Bonaventure at Richmond), visit Matt Sarz's College Sports on TV site. Another good resource is the schedule page at BB State.
